Szikrának és testvérkéinek nem igazán indult szépen a gyerekkora. Egy hajléktalan, nehéz-sorsú ember kért neki segítséget. Történt ugyanis, hogy hozzászegődött egy kutyus, aki aztán világra hozta a kölykeit. Nagyon hideg téli nap volt. A kicsi babák összekuporodva, vacogva, dideregve alig pár naposan várták sorsuk jobbra fordulását. Természetesen kimentünk értük. hiszen életveszélyben volt a kis életük, ráadásul nem csupán a hideg miatt, hanem a hely miatt, ahol voltak, egy forgalmas út mellett közvetlenül. Az anya annyira félt mindentől és mindenkitől, hogy minket is támadott. De végül sikerrel jártunk. Így kezdődött Szikra kis élete. Természete nagyon barátságos, kedves. Rettenetesen igényli az ember simogatását, törődését. Nagyon jól tanítható, okos, értelmes kutyus. Mai napig abban reménykedik, hogy egy nap eljön érte is az álom család és boldog, örömteli élete lehet.
