Tahiti is a very sensitive dog who will need time to trust. She does not seek human interaction and will need a family willing to respect her independence and pace. She will need to be accompanied gently and patiently, without being overprotected, to allow her to gradually gain confidence and flourish at her own pace. The presence of a balanced companion would be a real asset for her: it will be able to reassure her and help her evolve by mimicry. Tahiti will need to live in a family without children and have access to a perfectly fenced yard, as she may try to escape by digging. With time, kindness, and adopters willing to invest, she will be able to learn to create a bond with her humans.

Tahiti est une chienne très sensible qui aura besoin de temps pour accorder sa confiance. Elle ne recherche pas l’interaction avec l’humain et aura besoin d’une famille prête à respecter son indépendance et son rythme. Elle devra être accompagnée avec douceur et patience, sans être surprotégée, afin de lui permettre de prendre confiance progressivement et de s’épanouir à son propre rythme. La présence d’un congénère équilibré serait un véritable atout pour elle : il pourra la rassurer et l’aider à évoluer par mimétisme. Tahiti devra vivre dans une famille sans enfants et avoir accès à un terrain parfaitement clôturé, car elle peut chercher à s’échapper en creusant. Avec du temps, de la bienveillance et des adoptants prêts à s’investir, elle pourra apprendre à créer un lien avec ses humains.
