This is Taja! A lovely, gentle Old English Bulldog. Taja clearly enjoys all the attention from her people. Playing together is her favorite! Especially with a tug-of-war toy, she excels, but be cautious, she is strong for her size. Taja has a clear opinion… Sometimes this lady needs to be motivated to work, as she knows exactly what she wants. A obedience class would benefit Taja and will strengthen the bond with her future owner. She enjoys walking, but a long marathon might be a bit much. Mentally, she likes to be challenged by, for example, sniffing games or a chew snack she has to work for. Taja is very eager to learn and becomes visibly happy from learning. What we are looking for for Taja? A stable, loving home will be the best for Taja. For example, a family that is looking for a cozy, but also funny companion. Taja will benefit from an owner who has some knowledge of the breed and has a lot of time and attention for her. We do not place her with other bulldogs. She may be placed with children from the age of 12.

Dit is Taja! Een lieve, zachtaardige Old English Bulldog. Taja geniet duidelijk van alle liefde een aandacht van haar mensen. Samen spelen vind ze geweldig! Vooral met een trektouw vermaakt ze zich uitstekend, maar let op, ze is sterk voor haar formaat. Taja heeft duidelijk een eigen mening… Soms moet deze dame gemotiveerd worden om mee te werken, want ze weet precies wat ze zelf wil. Een gehoorzaamheidscursus zou Taja goed doen en zal de band met haar toekomstige eigenaar versterken. Wandelen vind ze fijn, maar een flinke marathon is ietwat overdreven. Wel wordt ze mentaal graag uitgedaagd door bijvoorbeeld snuffelspelletjes of een kauwsnack waar ze voor moet werken. Taja is erg leergierig en wordt zij zichtbaar gelukkig van leren. Wat wij voor Taja zoeken? Een stabiel, liefdevol huishouden zal voor Taja het beste uitpakken. Bijvoorbeeld een gezin dat een gezellige, maar ook grappige metgezel zoekt. Taja zal baat hebben bij een eigenaar die enige kennis heeft van het ras en daarnaast veel aandacht en tijd voor haar heeft. We plaatsen haar niet bij soortgenoten.
