During this visit, she showed herself again to be rather shy and reserved, but when we didn’t pay attention to her, TANQUI came up very close to us out of interest to sniff us. Her quiet curiosity is clearly noticeable, but in the shelter, with the far too infrequent and short visits, she can’t quite overcome her shyness. Therefore, we could only gently stroke TANQUI in the safety of her secure hut. She was not entirely comfortable with this intense closeness – she is simply too unfamiliar and therefore unaccustomed – but TANQUI behaved very well. We are sure that she will make progress with very experienced and sensitive people if she is gently taken by the paw and introduced to living together on the sunny side step by step. With support and without any expectations of her. A nice only dog that TANQUI can orient herself by would ease her adaptation and is a must here.—————Update December 2024: TANQUI stayed exclusively in the hut during our visit. It was obvious that our attention was not welcome from her side. We respected this and left her in peace.————TANQUI is a very insecure female dog. She is looking for a home with experience in dealing with anxious dogs and with confident other dogs, where she can slowly gain trust. Die meiste Zeit verbringt sie zurückgezogen in ihrer Hütte und möchte derzeit keinen Kontakt zu Menschen aufnehmen. Selbst als ihre Bezugsperson zu Besuch kam, blieb Tanqui in ihrer Hütte liegen und zeigte kein Interesse daran, herauszukommen. Man spürt, wie groß ihre Angst und ihr Misstrauen noch sind. Für Tanqui wird es viel Zeit, Geduld und Verständnis brauchen, bis sie wieder Vertrauen fassen kann. Mit anderen Hunden zeigt sie sich dagegen unproblematisch und ist mit Rüden verträglich. ————– Update Mai 2025: Unsere hübsche TANQUI hofft nun seit bald 6 unvorstellbar langen Jahren vergeblich im Shelter auf ihr Glück. Bei diesem Besuch zeigte sie sich erneut eher schüchtern und zurückhaltend, doch wenn wir sie nicht beachteten, kam TANQUI interessiert ganz nah heran, um uns zu beschnuppern. Ihre stille Neugier ist deutlich spürbar, doch im Shelter – bei den viel zu seltenen und kurzen Besuchen – kann sie nicht so recht über ihren Schatten springen. Daher konnten wir TANQUI nur im Schutz ihrer sicheren Hütte vorsichtig streicheln. Ganz geheuer war ihr diese intensive Nähe nicht – sie ist einfach zu fremd und daher ungewohnt – doch TANQUI machte es ganz brav mit. Wir sind uns sicher, dass sie bei sehr erfahrenen und einfühlsamen Menschen weiter Fortschritte machen wird, wenn sie behutsam an die Pfote genommen und Stück für Stück an ein Zusammenleben auf der Sonnenseite herangeführt wird. Mit Unterstützung und ohne Erwartungen an sie. Ein netter Ersthund, an dem TANQUI sich orientieren kann, würde ihr die Eingewöhnung zusätzlich erleichtern und ist hier ein Muss. ————— UPDATE Dezember 2024: TANQUI hielt sich während unserer Anwesenheit ausschließlich in der Hütte auf. Es war offensichtlich, dass unsere Aufmerksamkeit von ihrer Seite aus nicht erwünscht war. Wir respektierten dies und ließen sie in Ruhe. ———— TANQUI ist eine sehr unsichere Hündin. Sie sucht ein mit Angsthunden erfahrenes Zuhause mit souveränen anderen Hunden, in dem sie langsam Vertrauen fassen kann. Kontakt: Unsere Hunde sind geimpft (Tollwut und 2x Grundimmunisierung) sind gechippt und mit dem EU-Heimtierausweis ausgestattet werden auf unsere Kosten (wir übernehmen die Labor-Gebühren) auf die gängigen Mittelmeerkrankheiten getestet: Babesiose, Ehrlichiose, Leishmaniose, Rickettsien, Filarien, Hepatozoonose, Anaplasmose werden nur nach positiver Vorkontrolle (Hausbesuch) gegen eine Schutzgebühr mit Schutzvertrag vermittelt.
