Tara is a beautiful 8-year-old black female mixed breed cat who has had her share of struggles. Originally kept as an indoor cat, she was left alone for extended periods until she became unneutered to draw attention to her desperate situation. Unfortunately, instead of addressing the underlying issues, medication was used to treat her litter box problems. Eventually, after years, it was decided that Tara needed a new home. Upon arrival at our shelter, we discovered that Tara suffered from struvite crystals, which required a dietary change. The pain associated with urination had become so ingrained in Tara's behavior that she sometimes misses the litter box, and we have placed incontinence pads under her litter to ensure safety. For weeks, Tara has been waiting for a home where she can play and frolic freely, as these activities are high on her list of favorites. Cuddling is also important to her, and we believe that a small secure garden would greatly help her forget about her urinary issues! We envision a home with plenty of variety and a secured balcony or garden for Tara's adventurous spirit and curiosity, allowing her to become the happy, balanced cat she deserves. – hatte es nicht leicht Status: offen Name: Tara Rasse: BKH Mix Geschlecht: weiblich/kastriert Farbe: schwarz Alter: 8 Jahre Verträglich mit: am liebsten Prinzessin Tara ist eine rabenschwarze 8 Jahre alte BKH-Katzendame, die es im Leben bisher nicht leicht hatte… Ursprünglich als einzelne Wohnungskatze gehalten, wurde die wunderschöne BKH-Lady in den ersten Lebensjahren permanent über sehr lange Zeiten alleine gelassen, bis sie irgendwann, um auf ihre verzweifelte und vereinsamte Situation aufmerksam zu machen, unsauber wurde. Leider wurde dann, anstatt die Umstände abzuändern, versucht, die Unsauberkeit medikamentös mit Beruhigungsmitteln zu behandeln, bis man schließlich -nach Jahren- zum Glück für diese sanfte nette Katze entschieden hat, ihr ein neues Zuhause zu suchen. Bei uns angekommen wurde festgestellt, dass Tara unter Struvitsteinchen litt, die eine Futterumstellung nötig machen. Leider hatten sich die Schmerzen beim Urinieren in Taras Köpfchen verhaltensbedingt schon so weit eingenistet, dass sie trotz nicht mehr vorhandener Steine manchmal ihr Katzenklo nicht trifft und wir die Toilette sicherheitshalber auf Inkontinenzunterlagen drapiert haben. Seit Wochen nun wartet Tara darauf, dass sie endlich wieder in einem Zuhause rumtoben kann, denn spielen und toben steht für sie ganz weit oben auf der Liste der Lieblingsbeschäftigungen. Schmusen gehört ebenfalls dazu und wir sind überzeugt, dass ihr ein kleiner gesicherter Garten ebenfalls enorm helfen würde, ihr kleines Pipi-Problem zu vergessen! Wunschzuhause: Wir wünschen uns für Tara einen Haushalt mit viel Abwechslung und einem gesicherten Balkon oder Garten, der ihre Abenteuerlust und Neugierde befriedigen kann, damit Tara endlich eine glückliche ausgeglichene Katze werden darf!
