June 2023, Fabienne's diary: It was a close call for Tayson and Protos. Tayson and Protos were rescued from a dog pound, where they were on the euthanasia list. Because the shelter tries to maintain "sacrificio cero" (zero sacrifice), the animals are given more time than the mandatory 10 days, but all the pounds are so full these days that they have no choice but to euthanize, it's simply no longer sustainable. Tayson and Protos were very frightened and insecure at first, but they make progress every day. Each of them is now staying with a different confident dog, who isn't afraid and sets a good example for them, and you can see them evolve; slowly but surely they are coming into their own. If you want to take one of them into your heart, know that they need time, love, patience and commitment until they get used to you and your life. Then it will surely turn out well!

Juni 2023, Dagboek van Fabienne: Het was vijf voor twaalf voor Tayson en Protos. Tayson en Protos werden gered van een dodenstation, waar ze op de lijst van inslapen stonden. Aangezien ze "sacrificio cero” proberen te handhaven krijgen de dieren meer tijd dan de verplichte 10 dagen, maar alle dodenstations lopen deze dagen zo vol dat ze wel moeten inslapen, het is gewoon niet meer houdbaar. Tayson en Protos waren erg bang en onzeker in het begin, maar maken elke dag vorderingen. Ze zitten nu elk bij een andere zelfzekere hond, die niet bang is en hen het goede voorbeeld geeft, en je ziet hen evolueren, langzaam maar zeker komen ze tot zichzelf. Als je een van hen ter harte wil nemen, besef dan dat ze tijd, liefde, geduld en inzet vragen tot ze aan jou en jouw leven gewend zijn, dan komt het zeker goed!
