Temida

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 2 months

The first step in the adoption process is the adoption questionnaire: The main stages of the entire process are described on our website www. Gentle, touching, sweet and full of youthful energy. Temida is a young cat with a wonderful character. Although she may seem shy at first, when she feels safe, she shows her true nature: affectionate, curious and full of energy. She combines everything that is best in cats. On one hand, she is extremely cute and delicate, gladly rubs against legs, presents her chin for scratching and gives mousers. On the other hand, she is a real volcano of youthful energy, who joyfully demands play and attention. She especially likes to run after balls and fishing rods, although she doesn't need much to be happy - even a regular cork can be a great attraction for her. Temida often follows caregivers, lies nearby and carefully observes household life. And when she thinks it's time for a little attention, she jumps onto the nearest furniture and quietly "giggles" with a cute purring. Although she likes to accompany a person, she does not like being picked up and feels best with calm, attentive contact - sudden movements can sometimes scare her. She also gets along well with other cats. She could be a perfect companion for another young cat. Temida has already been through a lot in life, she was found on a plot with an advanced eye infection. Because of this, she had to have one eye removed, and she does not see fully with the other. However, this does not hinder her at all in daily functioning - she runs, jumps, plays and explores the world like any other cat. This is the ideal cat for someone looking for an exceptional companion: gentle, sweet, funny and full of life. Temida is a real pirate princess - cute, brave and ready to steal many hearts. We require windows and balconies/terraces to be secured according to the Foundation's standards. We do not adopt out cats to homes that are away. Accepts only cats into a home with another pet. Spayed, dewormed, before vaccination, prepared for adoption.

Pierwszym krokiem procesu adopcyjnego jest ankieta adopcyjna: Główne etapy całego procesu opisujemy na naszej stronie www: Delikatna, rozczulająco słodka i pełna młodzieńczej energii. Temida to młoda kotka o cudownym charakterze. Temida to prawdziwa piracka księżniczka - urocza, dzielna i gotowa skraść niejedno serce. Wymagamy zabezpieczenia okien i balkonu/tarasu zgodnie ze standardami Fundacji. Nie wydajemy kotów do domów wychodzących. Akceptuje koty Tylko do domu z innym zwierzakiem Wykastrowana, odrobaczona, przed szczepieniem, przygotowywana do adopcji

About Temida

What life with Temida looks like

Temida is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Temida, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Temida?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Temida on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Temida if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Temida already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Temida isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know Temida and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
