adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Tera is a beautiful female puppy who had great luck. Recently, she moved together with her brother Jani and her mother Kassy into a loving foster home. There, she is developing wonderfully, and now she just needs a Forever Home. Tera is approximately 4 months old and will grow to be small to medium-sized. She has incredibly beautiful, shiny fur and is a small cuddle machine. She is open, friendly, and gets along well with other dogs and even cats. The little fur-nose has settled in well and has already learned a few things. So, she is house-trained and walks excellently on leash and harness. Of course, she will still have much to learn in the future. Just like every little puppy, she still has many points to learn in the Dog ABC. Anyone who decides to give a little treasure like Tera a home should be aware that along with joy and love, a lot of work and responsibility will also come with it. Especially during puberty, where boundaries are tested and everything learned is often forgotten. That is why it is even more important that Tera is in a loving, consistent, and stable environment. But whoever is aware of this challenge will be rewarded with a wonderful companion who goes through thick and thin with you. Tera is still very young, and a visit to a positively working dog training class would be a wonderful additional support. While you train together and master tasks, you will automatically grow as a team and deepen your bond. If you wish that Tera is already happily trotting through your home soon, then contact us! We look forward to your message. Tera is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated and brings her EU Companion Animal Certificate. Age-wise, she is not yet spayed. Teddy Farms! Thank you for your namesake sponsorship! Thanks to your support, Tera will surely find her heart's people soon. Date: 20.05. Some symptoms here are age-related.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Stand: 20.05.2026

About Tera

What life with Tera looks like

Tera is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Tera, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tera?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tera on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tera if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Tera already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Tera isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tera and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
