Teseo has been waiting in our shelter since he was a puppy for his forever home. He is a beautiful but very anxious dog who still needs a lot of guidance. He often chooses to hide in a corner. His first instinct is to take distance and hide. When he gets to know someone better, he sometimes dares to come and sniff cautiously, but further contact remains a big step for him. His fear also translates into flight behavior, which is why he needs an extremely patient and understanding adopter. A quiet environment and a stable, social dog in the house can help him enormously to slowly gain trust. Walking on a leash is still a distant dream for him, but with a lot of time, patience and a gentle approach, he can make progress step by step. For Teseo, we are looking for an experienced, loving home without too many stimuli. Someone who doesn't push him, but gives him the space to get used to his own pace. It will be a long way, but with the right guidance, Teseo can slowly come out of his shell. Who offers him that chance, gives a deathly afraid, lost soul the opportunity to finally feel safe and loved.

Teseo wacht al van sinds hij pup is in ons asiel op een eigen thuis. Hij is een prachtige, maar erg angstige hond die nog veel begeleiding nodig heeft. Hij kiest er vaak voor om weg te kruipen in een hoekje. Zijn eerste instinct is om afstand te nemen en zich te verstoppen. Wanneer hij iemand beter leert kennen, durft hij soms voorzichtig komen snuffelen, maar verder contact blijft voor hem nog een grote stap. Zijn angst vertaalt zich ook naar vluchtgedrag, waardoor hij een uiterst geduldige en begripvolle adoptant nodig heeft. Een rustige omgeving en een stabiele, sociale hond in huis kunnen hem enorm helpen om langzaamaan vertrouwen te winnen. Wandelen aan de lijn is voor hem nog een verre droom, maar met veel tijd, geduld en een zachte aanpak kan hij stap voor stap vooruitgang boeken. Voor Teseo zoeken we een ervaren, liefdevol thuis zonder al te veel prikkels. Iemand die hem niet pusht, maar hem de ruimte geeft om op zijn eigen tempo te wennen. Het zal een lange weg zijn, maar met de juiste begeleiding kan Teseo langzaam uit zijn schulp kruipen. Wie hem die kans biedt, geeft een doodsbange, verloren ziel de mogelijkheid om zich eindelijk veilig en geliefd te voelen.
