Since then, she has been cared for with incredible love, patience, and dedication. Her foster home provides her with security, safety, and everything possible to make her life as fulfilling as possible despite her serious health limitations. And that's why we also want to be transparent about her story—perhaps there are people who are aware of the need for a special dog and would like to give her a loving home. Tessas story began tragically: She was found severely injured on a busy street after apparently being hit by a car. Helpless, she lay in the roadside until our helper Paul rescued her and brought her to safety. Since then, this brave female dog has fought her way through life with admirable strength. Today, Tessa is approximately 4.5 years old. Unfortunately, it has become clear over time that she remains a medical emergency and requires constant intensive care. Regular veterinary treatments, hospital stays, and medical interventions are necessary. Especially burdensome are the recurring fistulas and her severely limited mobility. Her left side is now completely stiff, which makes her daily life even more challenging. Despite all these challenges, Tessa has maintained her friendly and people-oriented nature. She enjoys attention, affection, and every loving touch. Her foster home describes her as an incredibly brave soul that has never given up and accepts every beautiful moment with gratitude. Visually, Tessa resembles a German Shepherd or Malinois mix. With her alert eyes and pricked ears, she is an impressive female dog that exudes a special presence despite her physical limitations. If someone decides to take Tessa consciously, we wish for a genuine home with empathetic and experienced people who are willing to continue her medical care and give her, above all, love, peace, and safety. People who no longer have expectations of her but simply want to show her that she is loved and belongs. We are also very pleased to receive support for her ongoing medical costs. Due to the many veterinary visits, treatments, and hospital stays, there are constant high expenses. Therefore, we are incredibly grateful for any help. Tessa durfte bereits im Januar 2024 in ihre Pflegestelle reisen. Dort wird sie seitdem mit unglaublich viel Liebe, Geduld und Hingabe betreut. Ihre Pflegestelle schenkt ihr Tag für Tag Sicherheit, Geborgenheit und alles, was möglich ist, um ihr trotz ihrer schweren gesundheitlichen Einschränkungen ein lebenswertes Leben zu ermöglichen. Und genau deshalb möchten wir auch offen sagen: Tessa muss nicht zwingend vermittelt werden. Sie darf bei ihrer Pflegestelle bleiben und wird dort nicht „abgeschoben“. Dennoch möchten wir transparent mit ihrer Geschichte umgehen – denn vielleicht gibt es irgendwo Menschen, die sich bewusst für einen besonderen Hund entscheiden und ihr einen liebevollen Gnadenplatz schenken möchten. Tessas Geschichte begann tragisch: Schwer verletzt wurde sie damals an einer stark befahrenen Straße gefunden, nachdem sie offenbar von einem Auto angefahren worden war. Hilflos lag sie im Straßengraben, bis unser Helfer Paul sie rettete und in Sicherheit brachte. Seitdem kämpft sich diese tapfere Hündin mit bewundernswerter Stärke durchs Leben. Heute ist Tessa etwa 4,5 Jahre alt. Leider hat sich im Laufe der Zeit gezeigt, dass sie ein medizinischer Notfall bleibt und dauerhaft intensive Betreuung benötigt. Immer wieder sind tierärztliche Behandlungen, Klinikaufenthalte und medizinische Maßnahmen notwendig. Besonders belastend sind die wiederkehrenden Fisteln sowie ihre stark eingeschränkte Mobilität. Ihre linke Körperseite ist inzwischen komplett steif, was ihren Alltag zusätzlich erschwert. Trotz all dieser Herausforderungen hat Tessa sich ihre freundliche und menschenbezogene Art bewahrt. Sie genießt Aufmerksamkeit, Zuwendung und jede liebevolle Berührung. Ihre Pflegestelle beschreibt sie als eine unglaublich tapfere Seele, die niemals aufgegeben hat und jeden schönen Moment voller Dankbarkeit annimmt. Optisch erinnert Tessa an einen Deutschen Schäferhund- oder Malinois-Mix. Mit ihren wachen Augen und den aufmerksam gespitzen Ohren ist sie eine beeindruckende Hündin, die trotz ihrer körperlichen Einschränkungen eine ganz besondere Ausstrahlung besitzt.
