My name is Thelma. I am female, neutered, and born in 2021. I have been waiting for a new home since September 2021. My caretakers say about me: Thelma came to us as a found animal with her sister. Thelma is shy and, after the adjustment period, she will allow herself to be stroked during feeding. She needs time to adjust. Therefore, a patient hand is requested, which allows Thelma to settle in first. One must also expect that she likes to play hide-and-seek, especially at the beginning, and she may not be seen for a while. Once she has adjusted, she shows great joy when served, which is the key to cuddling success. Calm hand movements also help her to build trust. If one is too intrusive, Thelma will retreat. We would like to place Thelma as a second cat, as she gets along very well with other animals. With a bit of luck, she could also be placed with Schkortitzer Samtpfote. Suitable for apartment living is possible, and one can also allow her some roam time after the adjustment period, should the surroundings be suitable. Mein Name ist Thelma. Ich bin weiblich, kastriert und 2021 geboren. Ich warte seit September 2021 auf ein neues Zuhause. Das sagen meine Betreuer über mich: Thelma kam mit Ihrer Schwester als Fundtier zu uns. Thelma ist schüchtern und lässt sich beim Füttern nach der Eingewöhnungszeit schon mal streicheln. Sie benötigt Zeit bei der Eingewöhnung. Hier ist also eine geduldige Hand gefragt, die Thelma erst mal ankommen lässt. Man muss auch damit rechnen, das sie gern Verstecken spielt, besonders zu Beginn wird man sie nicht zu Gesicht bekommen. Hat sie sich eingewöhnt, zeigt sie sich erfreut, wenn serviert wird- darin liegt der Schlüssel zum Kuschelerfolg. Auch ruhige Handbewegungen helfen ihm, Vertrauen aufzubauen. Wird man zu aufdringlich, zieht Thelma sich zurück. Gern würden wir Thelma als Zweitkatze vermitteln, da sie mit Artgenossen sehr gut zurecht kommt. Mit viel Glück auch mit einer Schkortitzer Samtpfote gemeinsam.Reine Wohnungshaltung ist möglich, gern kann man ihr aber nach Eingewöhnung auch Freigang gewähren, sollte das Umfeld passen. Wer also Geduld hat und gern Leckereien serviert, wird mit Thelma irgendwann Freundschaft schließen.
