THOR

Mixed Breed · Male

Thor is a small black and white dog, approximately 9 years old, with beautiful brown eyes that convey all the nobility he carries inside 🤎 He is incredibly handsome, but what really makes him special is his character ✨ At first, he may be a bit shy and it takes him time to trust, he needs to observe, understand that he is safe... but as soon as a few hours pass by your side, something changes. Thor starts to approach, to look at you in a different way, and little by little he opens his heart and becomes affectionate... 🐾 He gets along great with dogs! 🐶 He just needs an urgent adoption, with the possibility of adoption, someone with patience and affection, someone who gives him the opportunity to show how incredible a companion he can be, he has had a very hard time... We want the best for him 🥹🙏🏼 📱 675740732✉️ He is in Burjassot, Valencia. He is up for adoption chipped, vaccinated, dewormed and neutered. "A country can be judged by the way it treats its animals"

About THOR

What life with THOR looks like

THOR is an adult mixed breed dog waiting at Protectora de Burjassot in Spain.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting THOR, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about THOR?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Protectora de Burjassot handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw THOR on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt THOR if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Protectora de Burjassot will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is THOR already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if THOR isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Protectora de Burjassot early rather than rehoming privately; they know THOR and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
