Tiago is a young Tervuerense Herder who came to us through seizure. Despite his past, he is a particularly kind and affectionate dog towards his trusted people. He builds a strong bond and clearly enjoys being together. As befits a true Tervuerense Herder, Tiago is intelligent, eager to learn and energetic. He wants to work, think and be challenged - both mentally and physically. Sitting still is not for him. Currently, walking is still a big challenge. Anything with wheels (cyclists, skateboards, cars...) triggers him and he reacts strongly to it. This requires focused training, clear guidance and someone who has experience with herding or working dogs. Therefore, we are looking for a consistent, experienced handler who understands what this breed needs: structure, training, challenge and clear boundaries. With the right approach, he has the potential to grow into a fantastic, loyal working and family partner. Tiago is not a dog for beginners, but for the right person he becomes an exceptional companion.

Tiago is een jonge Tervuerense Herder die via inbeslagname bij ons terechtkwam. Ondanks zijn verleden is hij een bijzonder lieve en aanhankelijke hond naar zijn vertrouwde mensen. Hij bouwt een sterke band op en geniet zichtbaar van samen bezig zijn. Zoals het een echte Tervuerense Herder past, is Tiago intelligent, leergierig en energiek. Hij wil werken, nadenken en uitgedaagd worden — zowel mentaal als fysiek. Stilzitten is niets voor hem. Momenteel is wandelen nog een groot werkpunt. Alles wat wielen heeft (fietsers, steps, auto’s …) triggert hem en daar reageert hij sterk op. Dit vraagt gerichte training, duidelijke begeleiding en iemand die ervaring heeft met herders of werkhonden. Voor Tiago zoeken we dan ook een consequente, ervaren begeleider die begrijpt wat dit ras nodig heeft: structuur, training, uitdaging en duidelijke grenzen. Met de juiste aanpak heeft hij alle potentieel om uit te groeien tot een fantastische, trouwe werk- en gezinspartner. Tiago is geen hond voor beginners, maar voor de juiste persoon wordt hij een uitzonderlijk maatje.
