He is healthy, beautiful, and full of life. Until a few months ago, Simba lived in a family in the neighboring village, but they could no longer adequately care for him: a separated woman with three children (5, 9, and 14 years old), of which the two youngest have a certain degree of autism. The woman was overwhelmed, and the poor Simba was only allowed at most two short walks a day. No walks in the woods, hardly ever in the park – only the concrete of the street… This life was not fair to him. Simba was of course not intentionally mistreated, but his living situation was not species-appropriate. When his owner asked us for help, we picked him up immediately. It took a few days for Simba to get used to his new situation. The animal shelter is unfortunately not an ideal place for him, as it is too stressful. Nevertheless, Simba shows great progress, and the volunteers who know him are enthusiastic about his development – he feels much better! Simba is incredibly loving and grateful. He wants to please, is intelligent, eager to learn, and wishes for a normal dog life: with people who give him beautiful walks, a little structure, and lots of love. Whoever takes Simba into their heart gets a loyal, happy, and wonderful companion for life!

Er ist gesund, wunderschön und steckt voller Lebensfreude. Bis vor wenigen Monaten lebte Simba in einer Familie im Nachbardorf, die sich aber nicht mehr ausreichend um ihn kümmern konnte: eine getrennte Frau mit drei Kindern (5, 9 und 14 Jahre), von denen die beiden Jüngsten einen gewissen Grad von Autismus haben. Die Frau war überfordert, und der arme Simba durfte im besten Fall nur zweimal am Tag kurz Gassi gehen. Nie ein Spaziergang im Wald, fast nie in den Park – nur der Beton der Straße… So ein Leben hatte er nicht verdient. Simba wurde natürlich nicht absichtlich misshandelt, aber seine Lebenssituation war nicht artgerecht. Als sein Frauchen uns um Hilfe bat, haben wir ihn sofort abgeholt. Es hat ein paar Tage gedauert, bis Simba sich an seine neue Situation gewöhnt hat. Das Tierheim ist leider kein idealer Platz für ihn, da es zu stressig ist. Trotzdem zeigt Simba große Fortschritte, und die Freiwilligen, die ihn kennen, sind begeistert von seiner Entwicklung – er fühlt sich schon viel besser! Simba ist unglaublich lieb und dankbar. Er möchte gefallen, ist intelligent, lernwillig und wünscht sich ein normales Hundeleben: mit Menschen, die ihm schöne Spaziergänge schenken, ein bisschen Struktur bieten und viel Liebe schenken. Wer Simba in sein Herz schließt, bekommt einen treuen, fröhlichen und wunderbaren Begleiter fürs Leben!
