Timon

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 6 years

T- team boys from Marjamaa are like four drops of water, so similar they are in size and coat color. One of them is still a bit nervous in character and can tell immediately when someone is approaching, or rather, he himself signals who he is. However, the other three are relatively similar in character and it is easiest to tell them apart only by the small spots or stripes on their noses. I have already introduced Theodor and Tony, so we can now get to know Timon. When I arrived at the shelter, I had a piece of work with their little kitten brothers, constantly climbing over and under each other, and eventually it became a mess in front of my eyes. But practice makes perfect and spending many hours with them every day has been worth it, and Timon has gradually started to lose his bigger fears. The boy likes to be petted, we got the motor working nicely, he doesn't mind it anymore, and he no longer has anything against it. Also, training with the leash and luring him to play has slowly started to give results, the first scratching and chasing have been done and seen. Now Timon is ready to go home to further develop his skills there. If you would like to take such a furry friend for yourself, send an email to the foster home address and come to see Timon.

About Timon

What life with Timon looks like

Timon is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at Gabrieli Loomade Elu MTÜ in Estonia.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇪Adopting from Estonia

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Timon, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Timon?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Gabrieli Loomade Elu MTÜ handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Timon on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Timon if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Gabrieli Loomade Elu MTÜ will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Timon already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Timon isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Gabrieli Loomade Elu MTÜ early rather than rehoming privately; they know Timon and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ET). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
