Tina

Female · Senior · 10 years

If you haven't met the perfect dog yet, it's time to get to know Tiny 💚 What an extraordinary, cheerful female dog, full of devotion and warm feelings in her relationship with humans. When we spend time in her kennel, we want to keep petting and hugging her constantly. On one hand, she can be delightful and affectionate, which softens our hearts. On the other, there is a slight uncertainty in her, a question mark in her eyes that makes us initially keep our distance, just in case... Who knows, maybe she experienced something unpleasant before, which stops her from flooding us with her love and devotion 🥹However, we are dispelling all of Tiny's uncertainties with love and warmly invite her to interact, which brings her joy and relief, because this dog girl charges her batteries through touch and tenderness. Her face seems to be constantly smiling, and her tail is wagging endlessly - it's just pure love for humans. Tina is also a great companion for walks. She walks beautifully on a leash, and the length of the walk can be adjusted to your preference, long or short, the important thing is being with a human - this is Tiny's motto. The female dog has already had spaying and mastectomy. We hope her stay at the animal shelter won't last too long, because so much goodness shouldn't be wasted. We invite you for a meet and greet walk and definitely consider that once you see her, you won't want to part - that's certain.

About Tina

What life with Tina looks like

Tina is a medium-sized senior dog waiting at Schronisko Na Paluchu in Warsaw.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

Note from the shelter: Post-mastectomy surgery recovery

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Tina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tina?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Na Paluchu handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tina if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Na Paluchu will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Tina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Tina isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Na Paluchu early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
