Tinka is a calm and observant cat who prefers to watch her surroundings from a safe distance at first. She is a sweet, charming cat who needs time to build trust. She only allows people she has a close bond with to pet her - she is reserved around strangers. Vet visits are definitely not among her favorite activities. When Tinka came to us with her kitten, she was allowed to have her own room so she could care for her offspring in peace. This retreat option has clearly benefited her and shows how important a stress-free environment is to her. We wish Tinka a patient home with people who don't expect anything from her and give her the time to take the first step herself. After a careful introduction, she wants to enjoy her life as an outdoor cat in a low-traffic, rural environment. Unfortunately, we don't know how she reacts to other cats. Anyone who encounters a rather quiet cat with a lot of understanding will find in Tinka a loyal companion who doesn't give trust away - but shows it all the more honestly.

Tinka ist eine ruhige und aufmerksame Katze, die ihre Umgebung erst einmal lieber aus sicherer Distanz beobachtet. Sie ist eine liebe, charmante Katzendame, braucht aber Zeit, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Streicheln lässt sie sich nur von Menschen, zu denen sie eine enge Bindung aufgebaut hat – Fremden gegenüber bleibt sie zurückhaltend. Auch Tierarztbesuche gehören definitiv nicht zu ihren Lieblingsbeschäftigungen. Als Tinka mit ihrem Kitten zu uns kam, durfte sie ein eigenes Zimmer beziehen, damit sie in aller Ruhe für ihren Nachwuchs sorgen konnte. Diese Rückzugsmöglichkeit hat ihr sichtlich gutgetan und zeigt, wie wichtig ihr ein stressarmes Umfeld ist. Kinder sollten nicht im Haushalt leben, da Tinka mit ihnen nicht gut zurechtkommt und auf ein ruhiges Umfeld angewiesen ist. Für Tinka wünschen wir uns ein geduldiges Zuhause bei Menschen, die nichts von ihr erwarten und ihr die Zeit geben, selbst den ersten Schritt zu machen. Nach einer sorgfältigen Eingewöhnung möchte sie ihr Leben als Freigängerin in einer verkehrsarmen, ländlichen Umgebung geniessen. Wie sie auf andere Katzen reagiert, ist uns leider nicht bekannt. Wer einer eher stillen Katze mit viel Verständnis begegnet, wird in Tinka eine treue Begleiterin finden, die Vertrauen nicht verschenkt – dafür aber umso ehrlicher zeigt.
