Tino

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 3 months

Tino arrived at the shelter with Encina and four puppies. Two of the puppies were adopted, but the other two, including Tino, stayed at the shelter for two years. He arrived timid, and we began to pet and walk him. Here is Tino, a wonderful 25 kg pup, affectionate and adorable with all the volunteers who have grown very attached to him. He has been at the shelter for nearly 3 years, long ignored and invisible… it’s time he finds the family he deserves! He is a problem-free dog who loves walks, is easily manipulable, and gets along well with both male and female dogs! Neither difficult nor reactive, Tino is truly a great companion, ready to fill a family with happiness and loyalty. For more information or to adopt, fill out the adoption form. An adoption delegate will contact you soon. Adoption fee: 315 euros (vaccinated, microchipped, sterilized, transport included from Spain) Contact: his profile: Please share to give Tino a chance to find his family!

About Tino

What life with Tino looks like

Tino is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at 30 Millions d'Amis in Paris.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

Note from the shelter: Previously mistreated or abandoned equine requiring specialized care

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Tino, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tino?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. 30 Millions d'Amis handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tino on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tino if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — 30 Millions d'Amis will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Tino already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Tino isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with 30 Millions d'Amis early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tino and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
