Titti

European Shorthair · Unknown · Young · 2 years

Update 01.05.2026 Titti has quickly settled in at her foster home and already showed what a cuddly little personality she has. She is a cat that you just can't help but love: incredibly people-oriented, friendly and always ready to give her human loving head nudges. Titti actively seeks closeness, enjoys every bit of attention and brings life into the home with her open, cheerful nature. It's clear that she belongs and wants to be in the middle of things. She is curious, playful and full of energy. Sometimes she gets carried away and zooms through the apartment - pure joy of living on four paws. At the same time, she often sits by the window, attentively watching the world outside and appearing as if she would like to discover even more. Therefore, we wish Titti a loving home where she can enjoy closeness, play around - and after getting used to it, also be out in nature. Titti is a cat that gives a lot and makes her human smile every day. She can be visited and met at her foster home. If you are interested, I would be very happy to receive your message or call. Update 12.04.2026 Titti was able to leave the animal shelter together with Alex on April 10, 2026, and travel to a loving foster home. Updates and pictures will follow soon! Tittis story The sweet Titti was found together with her litter and brought to our partner shelter L.I.D.A. While her babies have all found a home in Italy, the caring mother is still waiting for her big happiness. Titti is a gentle, somewhat shy cat. Her big, sweet eyes show how much she wishes for security and safety. Even though she may seem a bit uncertain, she already allows herself to be picked up and petted.

About Titti

What life with Titti looks like

Titti is a large young adult european shorthair cat waiting at PfotenFreunde Sardinien e.V. in Germany.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Titti, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Titti?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. PfotenFreunde Sardinien e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Titti on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Titti if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — PfotenFreunde Sardinien e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Titti already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Titti isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with PfotenFreunde Sardinien e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Titti and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
