🧡 Toffee – Loving cat looking for a new forever home 🧡 Toffee has been part of her owner’s family since she was a tiny kitten nearly eight years ago, and she is deeply loved. Unfortunately, due to changes in family circumstances and location, her owners have made the heart-breaking decision to find her a new forever home where she can continue to enjoy the happy life she deserves. Toffee is looking for a genuinely kind, responsible adopter who will love her as much as her current owners do. Toffee’s Personality Toffee is a lovely, affectionate, easy-going cat who enjoys being part of everyday family life while still appreciating her independence. She loves spending time with her people, whether that’s curling up beside you on the sofa, sitting on your lap, following you around the house or simply relaxing nearby. She enjoys strokes, brushing and gentle attention, always on her own terms. Like many cats, she prefers calm, respectful handling. She isn’t keen on sudden touching, particularly around her lower back or tail, but when approached gently she is incredibly loving and content. She enjoys: ❤️ Sitting with her humans ☀️ Sunbathing on windowsills 📦 Cardboard boxes 🌿 Catnip 🪮 Being brushed 🎾 Interactive play 🐞 Chasing flies and insects 🚶 Exploring outdoors every day She also has a funny habit of enthusiastically chasing little scrunched-up balls of cooking foil! Home Life Toffee has lived with her family since kittenhood and is used to a normal family home with adults, teenagers and visitors. She has been around children and is comfortable with respectful older children who understand how to interact with cats. If things become noisy or overwhelming, she’ll simply wander off somewhere quiet until everything settles down. She has never lived with another cat or a dog, although she regularly encounters neighbourhood cats outdoors and generally manages these interactions like most cats. Outdoor Access Safe outdoor access is very important to Toffee. She enjoys exploring her neighbourhood every day and would ideally like a home where she can continue to have safe outdoor access once fully settled into her new home. She currently goes outside through a door or accessible window and happily returns home throughout the day. Health & Care * Spayed and microchipped (needs 2nd vaccination, which can be arranged) * Fully litter trained * Clean and tidy indoors * Never sprays * Has no inappropriate toileting issues * Eats dry food twice daily with occasional treats * Has no known food allergies or special dietary requirements She is used to being left alone during normal working or school days and is perfectly content relaxing at home until her family returns. The home she’s looking for Toffee would be happiest with someone who: * Has experience with cats or understands feline behaviour. * Will give her affection while respecting her independence. * Can offer a calm, loving and permanent home. * Can provide safe outdoor access once she has settled. * Understands that rehoming is a lifelong commitment. She would suit many households, whether that’s a family, couple or individual, provided she is loved, cared for and allowed to settle at her own pace. Important information This is a direct home-to-home adoption, meaning Toffee will move directly from her family into her new home.
