Toffee's partner passed away on July 5th, 2026, and since we don't feel confident in introducing her to a new companion, we have decided to find Toffee a good home. Toffee and Fussel were always relatively peaceful, with only a brief conflict phase around the age of 1.5 years. I wouldn't describe Toffee as dominant, but she is also not shy or fearful. Toffee is very curious and immediately comes to the cage door when it opens. She is relatively trusting of people and will come onto your hand if you give her time to decide for herself. About 2 years ago, Toffee had a dental surgery, but since then she has not experienced any problems with her teeth. She does not have other health issues. Unfortunately, the anesthesia did not agree with Toffee at all - it took about 1.5 weeks for her to fully recover from the surgery. I am also willing to travel up to approximately 300 km to meet Toffee's future family.

Leider ist Toffees Partnerin am 05.07.2026 verstorben und da wir uns keine Vergesellschaftung zutrauen, haben wir uns dazu entschieden Toffee in gute Hände abzugeben. Toffee und Fussel waren immer relativ friedlich und es gab nur in der Flegelphase mit ca. 1,5 Jahren eine kurze Streitphase. Ich würde Toffee eigentlich nicht als dominant beschreiben, aber sie ist auch nicht schüchtern oder ängstlich. Toffee ist sehr neugierig und kommt immer sofort zur Käfigtür, wenn man diese öffnet. Zu Menschen ist sie relativ zutraulich und kommt auch auf die Hand, aber nur wenn sie Vertrauen gefasst hat und man ihr Zeit gibt das selbst zu entscheiden. Vor ca. 2 Jahren hatte Toffee eine Zahn-OP, seitdem hat sie aber keinerlei Probleme mehr mit den Zähnen gehabt. Andere gesundheitliche Probleme hat sie nicht. Die Narkose hat Toffee damals leider überhaupt nicht gut vertragen – es hat ca. 1,5 Wochen gedauert, bis sie sich vollständig von der OP erholt hat. Ich bin auch bereit, Toffees zukünftiger Familie bis ca. 300 km entgegenzufahren.
