ID No.: r-korfu-toffee-m-1225 Update April 2026: Toffee has now received a stylish summer haircut. It turns out that he has epilepsy - he is now on medication for it. Additionally, his teeth needed work, and now only 6 little teeth remain. This doesn't seem to bother Toffee, and he still prefers to eat dry food. It would be wonderful if sweet Toffee could get another chance outside the shelter - we haven't given up hope! December 2025: Toffee and Terry come from terrible conditions - many dogs and cats in a completely neglected house, with the dogs going everywhere (see video). We are very grateful that animal lovers rescued Toffee and Terry (as well as Tiffy, Tina, Peter, and Petra before them) from there. We have agreed to take in the other dogs as well. The cats are to be neutered. At the animal shelter, Toffee and Terry were first given proper care. They are friendly and sociable little dogs who also get along well with cats. Toffee really enjoys cuddles. We are now very hopeful that Toffee will get another chance to enjoy a wonderful life in a great family. Toffee's age is estimated to be 10+ years. He measures about 30 cm and currently weighs 6.6 kg. All the dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, and have an EU pet passport.

I-Nr.: r-korfu-toffee-m-1225 Update April 2026: Toffee hat nun eine schicke Sommerschur erhalten. Es hat sich herausgestellt, dass er Epilepsie hat - mittlerweile ist er medikamentös eingestellt. Zudem mussten seine Zähne gemacht werden und es sind nun nur noch 6 Zähnchen übrig. Dies stört Toffee jedoch scheinbar nicht und er frisst trotzdem bevorzugt Trockenfutter. Es wäre so schön, wenn sich für den süßen Toffee nochmal eine Chance außerhalb des Tierheims auftut - wir geben die Hoffnung nicht auf! Dezember 2025: Toffee und Terry kommen aus fürchterlichen Zuständen - viele Hunde und Katzen in einem total verwahrlosten Haus, die Hunde machen überall hin (siehe Video). Wir sind sehr froh, dass Tierfreunde Toffee und Terry (so wie vorher schon Tiffy, Tina, Peter und Petra) dort rausgeholt haben. Wir haben zugesagt auch die anderen Hunde zu übernehmen. Die Katzen sollen kastriert werden. Im Tierheim wurden Toffee und Terry erstmal ordentlich versorgt. Sie sind freundliche und verträgliche kleine Hunde, die auch mit Katzen gut zurecht kommen. Toffee genießt Streicheleinheiten sehr. Wir hoffen nun sehr darauf, dass Toffee nochmal die Chance bekommt, ein schönes Leben in einer tollen Familie genießen zu können. Toffees Alter wird auf 10+ Jahre geschätzt. Er misst ca. 30 cm und wiegt hierbei aktuell 6,6 kg.
