Tommie is a 3-year-old male cat. The first 10 months of his life remain unknown—though they likely included crucial experiences that could explain why Tommie has an aversion to shoes and feet. He finds strangers very scary. Rain, too, seems to negatively affect his mood. This is Tommie’s “backpack”—the baggage he carries from his past. Yet according to his previous owner, Tommie can also be sweet and cheerful, and he loves to play. Sometimes Tommie enjoys having his chin scratched—but not for too long. He does like being around people, but he’d rather not be hugged or petted excessively. Here at Anima’s Faith foundation, after about two months, Tommie is starting to relax and move more freely within the group. He’s cautious yet patient when it comes to mealtime. Tommie loves going outside and used to take regular walks around the block with his previous owner. Tommie is looking for a home with a garden and owners who’ll accept his “backpack” as part of him. Then, hopefully, those sharp edges will gradually soften, and a cool Tommie will stay by your side forever. Tommie is een jonge kater van 3 jaar. De eerste 10 maanden van zijn leven zijn onbekend. Met waarschijnlijk wel cruciale ervaringen die kunnen verklaren waarom Tommie een hekel heeft aan schoenen en voeten. Hij vindt vreemde mensen heel eng. Ook regen lijkt zijn stemming negatief te beïnvloeden. Dit is ‘het rugzakje’ van Tommie. Maar Tommie kan ook lief en vrolijk zijn, volgens zijn vorige baasje. En hij is speels. Tommie vindt het soms lekker om onder zijn kin gekriebeld te worden. Maar niet te lang. Hij is wel graag bij mensen in de buurt, maar wil liever niet te veel geknuffeld en geaaid worden. Hier bij stichting Anima’s Faith begint hij na een twee maanden tot rust te komen, en zich vrijer te bewegen in de groep. Hij is afwachtend / geduldig wanneer het eten wordt uitgedeeld. Tommie gaat graag naar buiten en wandelde regelmatig met zijn vorige baasje een blokje om. Tommie zoekt een thuis met een tuin, en baasjes die zijn rugzakje voor lief nemen.
