Tooms

Unknown · Adult · 5 years

Tooms is a lovely girl looking for her new home. She may be a little shy at first, but with some patience, kindness and plenty of love, she’ll hopefully come hopping out of her shell in her own time. Tooms came into rescue due to overcrowding and is now ready to find a forever home where she can enjoy all the good things in life. Plenty of space to binky with places to explore and a bunny friend to share it all with. As rabbits are social little creatures, Tooms is looking for a home with a friendly rabbit she can bond with. Her new family should understand the needs of rabbits and be ready to provide the space, care and companionship she deserves. Could you be the one to help Tooms hop into her next chapter? All rabbits need a set up space of at least 3 metres x 2 metres – day ☀️ & Night 🌙. Our rabbit adoption fee is £65.00, which includes: vaccinations, neutering & 4 weeks Petplan Insurance cover.

Frequently asked

Adopting Tooms, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Tooms?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Thornberry Animal Sanctuary handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Tooms on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Tooms if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Thornberry Animal Sanctuary what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Tooms already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Thornberry Animal Sanctuary directly what is included and what Tooms still needs.
What happens if Tooms isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Thornberry Animal Sanctuary early rather than rehoming privately; they know Tooms and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
