TOSCA is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at New Life 4 Spanish Animals e.V. in Berlin.
Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months โ most shelters arrange this before adoption.
German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between โฌ250 and โฌ450, covering veterinary preparation.
