Trinity

adoption requirements adoption process Now adopt this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Trinity has found her home! Her story: Cluj, Romania. Trinity and Hedi, two sweet sisters we rescued from the streets. The two look optimistically to the future and hope that wonderful people will find them soon. Trinity is currently 3.5 months old and will likely reach a medium size. She is puppy-type playful and lively. She loves people and enjoys cuddles, and she gets along wonderfully with her fellow animals. Her beautiful fur pattern makes her something special, and one can't help but fall in love with her. Soon, Trinity will enter puberty. In this phase, she will test her owners and her limits. She is looking for someone who can stand by her during this hormone chaos and provide her with the necessary understanding and support so that she can grow into a great dog. Positive reinforcement training and loving consequences will help her navigate this time well and emerge as a strong team. For Trinity would never do something consciously to upset you. She often can't help her behavior during this tumultuous time and hopes that you will always stand behind her during this difficult time. Living children in the household should be older to understand the new companion and not misunderstand. Surely it would be time now to find new friends in dog training classes and finally be able to "learn" something—perhaps with you? She is eager to learn the dog ABCs and form new friendships. Trinity will move into her new home microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. She will of course bring her EU pet passport with her. Against an adoption fee of 500 Euros and only after a positive Claudia D. gave Trinity her beautiful name. Stand: 15.04.

Vielen Dank Claudia D.! Du hast Trinity ihren hübschen Namen geschenkt. Stand: 15.04.2024

About Trinity

What life with Trinity looks like

Trinity is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Trinity, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Trinity?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Trinity on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Trinity if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Trinity already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Trinity isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Trinity and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
