Trisha (Paten gesucht)

Female · Adult · 6 years

Trisha came to us in 2020 with three siblings and her mother from very, very bad husbandry, back then they were still very small. Her mother sadly passed away last year but she also reached a proud age. Trisha, like her siblings, is very greedy and quite cheeky. When food comes into the enclosure, she will be outright attacked. We would be very grateful for a sponsor for Trisha.

Frequently asked

Adopting Trisha (Paten gesucht), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Trisha (Paten gesucht)?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Bergheim handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Trisha (Paten gesucht) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Trisha (Paten gesucht) if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Tierheim Bergheim what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Trisha (Paten gesucht) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Tierheim Bergheim directly what is included and what Trisha (Paten gesucht) still needs.
What happens if Trisha (Paten gesucht) isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Bergheim early rather than rehoming privately; they know Trisha (Paten gesucht) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
