Trixie is a gentle, affectionate 14 year old who came into foster care after her elderly owner sadly passed away. She has a quiet little miaow and a wonderfully loud, contented purr. As she settles in, she'll likely begin by sitting nearby, then move closer over time - and eventually choose your lap once she feels fully secure. She has always enjoyed a cheek scritch and a gentle stroke, and still has sweet playful moments each day. Trixie has mild cardiomyopathy but currently needs no medication. She will be rehomed under the charity's Golden Oldie Scheme, which covers her routine heart monitoring. She's a sociable eater who likes company and would suit a quiet, child free home without other pets, ideally with someone retired who is home much of the time.
