The animal shelter Cappel in Marburg does not take any responsibility for private placement ads and ads from other organizations. ________________________ Cato will likely be living on a foster home in Marburg from May, therefore here is his placement ad from the animal welfare association Tirol: Important information: Size: Approximately 58 cm, 27 kg Cats: Unknown Children: From 10 years old Dogs: By temperament: Innsbruck (Mentlberg) Description: Because his owner passed away unexpectedly, this pretty young boy is now searching for a new home… His world has been completely turned upside down, and so we found ourselves facing a much too thin dog who wouldn't eat and was unsure of all encounters. Although Cato is still very inexperienced in many things, he has now built up a lot and is more than ready for his own family. From his character, Cato is very sensitive and easily impressed. Paired with a bit of power. He loves people very much, has also lived with (larger) children, and is very attached to his people. While he is an incredible cuddler when he comes to rest inside, he is an energetic dog outside with lots of energy. He loves long walks and would surely enjoy dog sports, just as happy is he with a home where he can regularly be out in the mountains or something similar. We are currently working on his interactions with other dogs, as he still occasionally growls in encounters, but he handles most other interactions calmly. His lead walking has improved a lot with a bit of work, and his insecurities around other people have settled. With other dogs, he is compatible by temperament, having already walked with several different dogs for hours and currently living with our Heidi. When living with another dog in his new home, he likely needs some guidance on how to interact politely with each other. Cato is still young and wants to learn a lot about the world. Das Tierheim Cappel in Marburg übernimmt keine Gewähr für private Vermittlungsanzeigen und Anzeigen anderer Vereine. ________________________ Cato wird voraussichtlich ab Mai auf einer Pflegestelle in Marburg wohnen, daher hier seine Vermittlungsanzeige vom Tierschutzverein Tirol: Wichtige Infos: Größe: Ca 58 cm, ca 27 kg Katzen: nicht bekannt Kinder: ab 10 Hunde: Nach Sympathie Tierheim: Innsbruck (Mentlberg) Beschreibung: Weil seine Besitzerin ganz unerwartet verstarb sucht der hübsche Jungspund jetzt wieder ein Zuhause… Seine Welt ist dadurch komplett aus den Fugen geraten und so standen wir einem viel zu dünnen Hund der nicht essen wollte und der unsicher alle Begegnungen anpöbelte gegenüber. Cato ist zwar in vielen Dingen immernoch unerfahren, hat jetzt aber sehr aufgebaut und ist mehr als bereit für seine eigene Familie. Vom Grundcharakter her ist Cato sehr sensibel und leicht zu beeindrucken. Gepaart mit einiges an Power. Er mag Menschen super gerne, hat auch mit (größeren) Kindern zusammen gelebt und hängt sich sehr an seine Menschen. Während er drinnen, wenn er zur Ruhe kommt, ein wahnsinniger Kuschler ist, ist er draußen ein sportlicher Hund mit viel Energie. Er liebt lange Spaziergänge, hätte mit Sicherheit auch Spaß an Hundesport, genauso glücklich ist er mit einem Zuhause wo er regelmäßig am Berg unterwegs ist oder ähnliches. An Hundebegegnungen arbeiten wir aktuell noch, da kommt er noch teilweise ins pöbeln, andere Begegnungen meistert er ruhig. Seine Leinenführigkeit ist dagegen wenn man bisschen mit ihm arbeitet schon sehr gut geworden und auch seine Unsicherheiten anderen Menschen gegenüber hat sich hier gelegt. Mit anderen Hunden ist er nach Sympathie verträglich, hier ist er auch schon mit einigen verschiedenen Hunden stundenweise gelaufen und wohnt jetzt aktuell mit unserer Heidi zusammen. Beim Zusammenleben mit einem weiteren Hund in seinem neuen Zuhause benötigt er vermutlich noch Anleitung was einen höflichen Umgang miteinander angeht. Cato ist noch jung und will ganz viel von der Welt kennenlernen. Er sucht Menschen, die gerne mit ihm arbeiten und Lust auf einen aktiven Begleiter haben.
