Tula

Tula was tied up at the shelter’s fence, and at first it looked as though she had an injured, bloody paw. But upon closer inspection, her injured eye became visible. Tula had scratched her eyelid with her paw because a foxtail spike had become lodged in her eye, causing the eye to become inflamed and filled with blood and pus. She was in great pain and was, of course, immediately taken to the vet. The vet removed the spike, and Tula was prescribed antibiotics. Meanwhile, everything has healed, and Tula is now fully recovered. We find it frustrating time and again when someone so carelessly disposes of their sick animal instead of taking proper care of it and sticking together through good times as well as bad—in this case, during illness. Well, anyway, Tula has now been given the chance to find a truly wonderful and loving home, and that’s exactly what we’ll be looking for for her. Tula is a calm and content dog who gets along splendidly with all the other dogs at the shelter. Because of her appearance, we initially thought she might be a Malinois mix and therefore extremely active—but given her gentle nature, we could also imagine that she’s a Podenco mix. Perhaps she’s even a Malinois-Podenco mix that looks like a Malinois but has the temperament of a Podenco? No one knows for sure, and actually, it doesn’t really matter, because Tula is sweet-natured, noble, obedient, and simply a marvelous dog who’s looking for a loving home where she can have the best life possible until the end of her days—and never again have to start over from scratch. Due to Tula’s sociable nature, it’s quite conceivable that she could join a household that already has dogs. But she’d certainly feel just as comfortable as an only princess—what matters most is that she finally gets the family connection she so richly deserves and plenty of time spent with her future beloved humans. © 2006-2026 by Tierschutzverein Europa e.V. - All rights reserved

Tula wurde am Zaun des Tierheims angebunden und es sah zunächst so aus, als hätte sie eine verletzte blutige Pfote. Doch bei genauerem Hinsehen wurde dann das verletzte Auge sichtbar. Tula hatte sich mit ihrer Pfote das Augenlid aufgekratzt, weil sie eine Fuchsschwanz-Ähre im Auge hatte, sodass sich das Auge entzündete und voller Blut und Eiter war. Sie hatte große Schmerzen und wurde natürlich umgehend zum Tierarzt gebracht. Dieser entfernte die Ähre und Tula bekam Antibiotika. Inzwischen ist alles abgeheilt und Tula ist vollständig genesen. Wir finden es immer wieder aufs neue ärgerlich, wenn jemand sich seines kranken Tieres auf so einfache Weise entledigt, anstatt sich zu kümmern und in guten wie auch schlechten (in dem Fall kranken) Zeiten zusammenzuhalten. Na ja, wie auch immer, Tula hat so nun die Chance bekommen, ein wirklich gutes und liebenswertes Zuhause zu bekommen, denn dieses werden wir nun für sie suchen. Tula ist eine ruhige und zufriedene Hündin, welche sich im Tierheim mit allen anderen Hunden prima versteht. Aufgrund ihrer Optik dachten wir zunächst, dass sie eine Malinois-Mischlingshündin ist und super aktiv wäre, aber durch ihr ruhiges Wesen könnten wir uns auch vorstellen, dass sie ein Podenco-Mischling ist. Vielleicht ist sie auch ein Malinois-Podenco-Mischling, welcher aussieht wie ein Mali, aber das Wesen eines Podencos hat? Nichts genaues weiß man nicht und eigentlich ist es auch ganz egal, denn Tula ist sanftmütig, edel, gehorsam und einfach eine wunderbare Hündin, welche ein liebevolles Zuhause sucht und bis ans Ende ihres Lebens das beste Leben bekommt und nie wieder von vorne anfangen muss. Durch Tulas gesellige Art ist es durchaus denkbar, dass sie in ein Zuhause zieht, wo es bereits schon Hunde gibt. Aber sie würde sich sicherlich auch als Einzelprinzessin wohlfühlen, Hauptsache sie bekommt endlich den Familienanschluss, den sie so sehr verdient und viel Zeit mit ihren zukünftigen Herzensmenschen. © 2006-2026 by Tierschutzverein Europa e.V. - All rights reserved
