Gemeinsam mit ihren Welpen wurde sie ausgesetzt und suchte tagelang auf der Straße nach Schutz, Futter und einem sicheren Platz für ihre Familie. Sie wurde von unserer kroatischen Pflegestelle aufgenommen und versorgt. Mittlerweile durfte sie weiter nach Österreich reisen und warten nun von dort aus auf ihr Für-immer-Zuhause. Trotz dieser schweren Zeit hat Uma ihr freundliches und offenes Wesen bewahrt. Sie zeigt sich Menschen, Kindern und anderen Hunden gegenüber sehr sozial und freundlich. Katzen interessieren sie kaum. Besonders beeindruckend ist ihre fürsorgliche und liebevolle Art als Mutter. Sie kümmert sich aufmerksam um ihre Welpen und zeigt dabei viel Ruhe und Geduld. Uma läuft bereits gut an der Leine und überzeugt mit ihrer klugen, unkomplizierten Art.
