Urano – a gentle, beautiful male dog seeks a loving home Urano is a large mixed-breed male dog who has lived at the Spanish animal shelter since May 2025. During this time, he has made significant progress: He gets along very well with other dogs and has quickly formed friendships. He is beginning to adapt to the shelter routine and shows his friendly, gentle nature. When walking, Urano sometimes reacts nervously to new sounds or quick movements – unfamiliar impressions can still startle him. However, cars do not frighten him, and he meets both people and other dogs with polite interest. If he encounters cats on the way, he is curious but not reactive. Urano needs time, patience, and sensitive people who can help him build trust and gradually gain security. With calmness and understanding, he will become a faithful companion who can give his person a lot of love in return. As we suspect that a part of Urano might be a herding dog, we would like to see him in a home in a rural setting where he can relax and settle in at his own pace. Urano is truly a beautiful dog – please give him the chance to the loving home he so deserves. If you would like to give Urano a home, contact his foster parent. Even a foster home would be very helpful for him to start in Germany.

Urano – ein sanfter, wunderschöner Rüde sucht ein liebevolles Zuhause Urano ist ein großer Mischlingsrüde, der seit Mai 2025 im spanischen Tierheim lebt. In dieser Zeit hat er bereits viele Fortschritte gemacht: Mit anderen Hunden versteht er sich sehr gut und hat schnell Freundschaften geschlossen. Er beginnt, sich im Tierheimalltag zurechtzufinden und zeigt dabei seine freundliche, sanfte Art. Beim Spazierengehen reagiert Urano manchmal nervös auf neue Geräusche oder schnelle Bewegungen – ungewohnte Eindrücke können ihn noch erschrecken. Autos hingegen machen ihm keinerlei Angst, und sowohl Menschen als auch anderen Hunden begegnet er stets mit höflichem Interesse. Trifft er unterwegs auf Katzen, ist er neugierig, aber nicht reaktiv. Urano braucht vor allem Zeit, Geduld und einfühlsame Menschen, die ihm helfen, Vertrauen zu fassen und Schritt für Schritt Sicherheit zu gewinnen. Mit Ruhe und Verständnis wird aus ihm ein treuer Begleiter, der seinem Menschen viel Liebe zurückgeben kann. Da in Urano vermutlich ein Herdenschutzhund-Anteil steckt, wünschen wir uns für ihn ein Zuhause in einem ländlichen Umfeld, in dem er zur Ruhe kommen und sich im eigenen Tempo einleben darf.
