Asiel Eleos: Input 2 July 2026: Like many podencos, Uva has a sad past. She lived on a farm with her mother but her owner wanted to get rid of her (and her two brothers) and brought them to Eleos. Despite this, Uva is a very sweet dog. She is affectionate and cheerful. She is social with both dogs and people. Uva is a huge cuddle bug and doesn't care who she's with; big or small, man or woman. She loves playing with both dogs and people. As befits a real podenco, she loves walking and running, so an active person would be a great match for her. While walking, she takes in everything around her and clearly marvels at all the little things she sees, like a butterfly fluttering by. She stops to watch it intently. Indoors, she behaves calmly and neatly. It's not entirely clear how she gets along with cats, but she is completely non-aggressive, so we don't expect that to be a problem

Asiel Eleos: Input 2 juli 2026: Zoals ze veel podenco’s heeft ook Uva een triest verleden. Zij leefde met haar moeder op een boerderij maar haar eigenaar wilde van haar (en haar 2 broertjes) af en bracht hen naar Eleos. Ondanks dit is Uva een erg lieve hond. Ze is aanhankelijk en vrolijk. Ze is sociaal naar zowel honden als mensen. Uva is een enorme knuffelkont en het maakt haar niet uit met wie; groot of klein, man of vrouw. Ze speelt graag zowel met honden als mensen. Zoals het een echte podenco betaamt houdt ze van wandelen en rennen dus een actief mens zou erg bij haar passen. Tijdens het wandelen neemt ze veel in zich op en verwondert zich duidelijk over allerlei kleine dingen die zij ziet zoals een vlinder die rondfladdert. Ze blijft dan even staan om deze aandachtig te volgen. In huis gedraagt zij zich rustig en netjes. Hoe ze met katten is, is niet helemaal duidelijk maar ze is totaal niet agressief dus we verwachten dat dat geen probleem is
