I am a young, beautiful dog. I resemble a beagle and a grown-up dachshund in appearance. I am intelligent and sometimes stubborn. Before coming to the shelter, I met a human from the wrong side, which is why I don't trust people at first sight. My heart needs to be won over with patience. I was afraid of an outstretched hand, sending warning signals when someone tried to touch me. I was afraid when someone stood over me, immediately fearing the worst. Over time, I allowed the distance to be reduced, allowed myself to be approached, and even started approaching. Now, when I see a human, I wag my tail happily, run up in the box. I let myself be petted, but only when it happens with my consent. I let myself be put on a leash and taken for a walk. Initially, I was afraid of walking, but now I walk briskly, look around myself, and sniff curiously. I am a big glutton - even in stressful situations, I don't lose my appetite. Food allowed me to get used to a person. I am smart - I can find hidden treats myself. I recommend myself to a home that has experience with dogs; I am looking for a wise guide who can read dog signals and knows that every dog needs time to trust. I still fear new situations. I don't like it when someone suddenly leans over me, a suddenly extended hand stresses me very much. Nim trafiłem do schroniska poznałem człowieka od złej strony – z tego powodu nie ufam ludziom w pierwszym spotkaniu. Moje serce trzeba zdobyć cierpliwością. Bałem się wyciągniętej ręki, przy próbie dotyku wysyłałem sygnały ostrzegawcze. Bałem się, gdy ktoś nade mną stawał, od razu obawiałem się najgorszego. Z czasem pozwoliłem zmniejszyć dystans, pozwoliłem do siebie podejść, sam zacząłem podchodzić. Teraz na widok człowieka merdam wesoło ogonem, podbiegam w boksie. Pozwalam się głaskać, ale tylko wtedy, gdy dzieje się to za moją zgodą. Pozwalam sobie zapinać smyczy, wyprowadzać na spacer. Początkowo obawiałem się i spaceru, ale teraz raźnie maszeruję, rozglądam się wokół siebie, ciekawsko węszę. Jestem dużym łakomczuchem – nawet w stresujących sytuacjach nie tracę apetytu. Jedzenie pozwoliło mi się oswoić z człowiekiem. Jestem sprytny – sam potrafię znaleźć schowane smaczki. Polecam się do domu, który ma doświadczenie z psami; poszukuję mądrego przewodnika, który potrafi czytać psie sygnały i wie, że każdy pies potrzebuje czasu, aby zaufać. Wciąż obawiam się nowych sytuacji. Nie lubię, gdy ktoś nagle nade mną się nachyla, gwałtownie wyciągnięta ręka bardzo mnie stresuje.
