Uwe, a cat, roamed unneutered in Bonn's Nordstadt, likely making quite a racket. Upon arrival at the shelter, he immediately spoke to us a lot and loudly, expressing his dissatisfaction with the quarantine situation. Uwe has now moved to the adoption area and is noticeably calmer. As with most talkative cats, he is primarily looking for attention and/or food - so he is easy to satisfy. Uwe is generally open and friendly to people, but unfortunately shows his "proletarian" side towards other cats. He had to switch from the cat house to a single area after a few days. There, he eagerly awaits visitors and jumps up as soon as the door opens. The handsome cat has a lot of energy and wants to experience a lot. In his future home, Uwe would like to explore the surroundings as an outdoor cat. We can easily imagine him being placed in a family; however, he is not suitable for small children due to his initially uncertain or sometimes impulsive nature.

Kater Uwe lief unkastriert in der Bonner Nordstadt herum und hat dort vermutlich ziemlich lautstark auf sich aufmerksam gemacht. Im Tierheim angekommen, hat er von Anfang an sehr viel und unüberhörbar mit uns gesprochen und seine Unzufriedenheit der mit Quarantänesituation zum Ausdruck gebracht. Jetzt konnte Uwe in den Vermittlungsbereich umziehen und wird spürbar ruhiger. Wie bei den meisten gesprächigen Katzen geht es ihm vor allem um Aufmerksamkeit und/oder Futter – er ist also eigentlich leicht zufrieden zu stellen. Menschen begegnet Uwe überwiegend aufgeschlossen und freundlich, Artgenossen gegenüber zeigt er leider seine ‘proletenhafte’ Seite. Das Katzenhaus musste er somit nach wenigen Tagen gegen einen Einzelbereich tauschen. Dort wartet er freudig auf Besucher:innen und springt sofort auf, wenn die Tür aufgeht. Der hübsche Kater hat eine Menge Energie und will noch viel erleben. Im künftigen Zuhause würde Uwe gerne als Freigänger die Umgebung unsicher machen. Wir können uns gut vorstellen ihn in eine Familie zu vermitteln; zu Kleinkindern passt er durch seine anfangs unsichere bzw. teils ungestüme Art allerdings nicht.
