Sie lebt seit März 2021 in unserem Shelter, nachdem wir sie aus dem Public Shelter zu uns holen konnten. Valentina ist noch schüchtern und zurückhaltend. Wir hoffen aber, dass sie mit der Zeit Vertrauen zu unseren Pflegern aufbauen kann und versteht, dass sie es nur gut mit ihr meinen. Wir wünschen der hübschen Hündin, dass sie bald von ihren Menschen gefunden wird, damit sie sich auf die lange Reise in ein neues Leben machen kann. Unser Besuch im August 2022: Im Gegensatz zu unserem letzten Besuch war Valentina dieses Mal mutiger. Sie blieb vor ihrer Hütte und nahm sogar Leckerlis aus der Hand. Haben wir uns aber auf sie zu bewegt, flüchtete sie sofort. Alles in allem freuen wir uns aber, dass Valentina etwas mutiger geworden ist und hoffen sehr, dass sie auf diesem Weg bleibt! Unser Besuch im Dezember 2021: Als wir Valentina im Dezember 2021 besuchten, hatte sie große Angst vor uns. Sie blieb zitternd in der Ecke ihrer Hütte und wollte keine Leckerlis von uns nehmen. Wichtige Information: Wenn Valentina bei ihren Menschen angekommen ist, wird sie sicher erstmal Zeit brauchen, um sich von der anstrengenden Fahrt zu erholen. Ihre Menschen sollten geduldig und verständnisvoll mit Valentina sein, zudem sollten sie bereits über Erfahrung im Umgang mit ängstlichen oder unsicheren Hunden verfügen. Sehr wahrscheinlich steckt in Valentina ein Anteil Herdenschutzhund, weshalb ihre Menschen bereits Erfahrung im Umgang mit dieser sehr ursprünglichen Rasse haben und die Eigenheiten und Besonderheiten zu schätzen wissen sollten. Valentina wird sicherlich Zeit brauchen, um sich an ihren neuen Alltag zu gewöhnen. Das Leben in einem Haus oder einer Wohnung kennt sie bestimmt noch nicht, so dass sie noch vieles zu lernen hat. Valentina wird sich über die täglichen Spaziergänge freuen, denn so lernt sie jeden Tag etwas mehr von ihrer neuen Umgebung kennen. Wenn sie ihren Menschen vertraut, wird sie sich über die vielen Streicheleinheiten freuen und diese auch genießen können.
