C’est un chien dynamique et plein d’énergie, qui aura besoin d’adoptants actifs, prêts à lui offrir les dépenses physiques et les activités dont il a besoin pour s’épanouir pleinement. Derrière cette belle vitalité se cache aussi un chien très affectueux et câlin, qui apprécie énormément les moments de complicité avec ses humains. Il saura se montrer tendre et attachant auprès de ceux qui lui accorderont du temps et de l’attention. Valjean devra être le seul animal du foyer et vivre en maison, afin de bénéficier d’un environnement adapté à ses besoins. Cependant, il pourra faire des balades avec d'autres chiens.
