Vanda – nach dem Auftauen ein Hochgenuss

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 4 years

I am male, neutered, and born in 2022. I have been waiting since December 2022 for a new home. My caretakers say about me: Vanda came to us as a found animal or due to the overpopulation of an older lady. She had to go into the shelter, and now all the cats are being taken in one by one. Vanda warms up to new people quickly and is cuddly and approachable. She is a classic young tomcat who still has a lot to experience. She would like to be with another feline companion, preferably with another one of our sheltermates if one is still available. Vanda does not have any special requirements regarding the conditions for placement beyond the usual requirements. Whether she is suitable for apartment living or as a future outdoor cat, that is of no concern to her. What matters are plenty of cuddles and lots of play and fun. Who would like to finally have a fiery feline at home and enjoy life to the fullest with Vanda?

How do I contact the shelter about Vanda – nach dem Auftauen ein Hochgenuss?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Schkortitz handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Vanda – nach dem Auftauen ein Hochgenuss on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Vanda – nach dem Auftauen ein Hochgenuss if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Schkortitz will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Vanda – nach dem Auftauen ein Hochgenuss already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Vanda – nach dem Auftauen ein Hochgenuss isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Schkortitz early rather than rehoming privately; they know Vanda – nach dem Auftauen ein Hochgenuss and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
