Hello, I am the sweet Venatrix! I was given up along with three other cats because my owner was unfortunately overwhelmed with our care. Actually, I am a real sweetheart—my other friends already have interested parties, but here, I am unfortunately overlooked rather quickly. I am quite shy and do not come out of my cave in the cat room when strangers are in the room. However, if you take the time and patience to spend with me, sit a little closer, and approach me gently, I will thaw out and start to enjoy your cuddles. My caretakers are convinced that I will really warm up in a quiet home—I just have a bit of stress here at the animal shelter, making it hard for me to come out of my shell. Another nice cat in my new domain should not be a problem, I get along well with my fellow animals here. However, young children in the household are a bit too much for me—older, more quiet children should be fine. After my adjustment period, I am also looking forward to a walk in a quiet and more rural environment. Would you like to give a super sweet but rather shy cat a chance? Hallo, ich bin die süße Venatrix! Ich wurde zusammen mit drei anderen Katzen abgegeben, da mein Besitzer mit unserer Haltung leider überfordert war. Eigentlich bin ich eine richtig liebe Maus - meine anderen Freunde haben schon Interessenten, nur mich übersieht man hier leider schnell. Ich bin nämlich ziemlich schüchtern und komme im Katzenraum nicht von selbst aus meiner Höhle, wenn fremde Leute im Zimmer sind. Wenn man sich aber erst einmal Zeit und Geduld für mich nimmt, sich ein bisschen zu mir setzt und sich vorsichtig annähert, dann taue ich auf & fange an, eure Streicheleinheiten zu genießen. Meine Pfleger sind überzeugt davon, dass ich in einem ruhigen Zuhause auch richtig auftauen werde - hier im Tierheim habe ich nun mal leider etwas Stress, da fällt es mir schwer aus mir herauszukommen. Eine andere nette Katze in meinem neuen Reich sollte kein Problem sein, ich zeige mich hier verträglich mit meinen Artgenossen. Kleine Kinder im Haushalt sind mir allerdings zu viel des Guten - ältere, ruhigere Kinder sollten aber in Ordnung gehen. Nach meiner Eingewöhnung freue ich mich auch Freigang in einer verkehrsberuhigten und eher ländlichen Umgebung. Ihr möchtet einer super lieben, aber etwas schüchternen Katze eine Chance geben?
