Vendi, the rough diamond Vendi came to the shelter as a young dog. She is one of many dogs that were abandoned and left to their fate. Vendi remains mistrustful and cautious towards people to this day. It is assumed that she did not form overly intimate or positive experiences with humans during her early developmental phase. When Vendi knows someone, contact is possible. She is shy around strangers. Nonetheless, we are looking for a home for Vendi. Because being cautious towards people does not mean that life in the shelter is pure bliss for her. Vendi also deserves a chance at her own home. Vendi needs a quiet home with people she can build a reliable bond with. A household with children is unsuitable for Vendi. City life is also not right for Vendi. Therefore, we are looking for a home, preferably with a garden, in a quiet area, with people who love peace and nature, and are willing to give an insecure dog the necessary time, patience, and love. Info: What does it mean that the dog is not yet travel-ready? Our dogs are regularly and properly vaccinated. The rabies vaccination is done annually in Serbia. To transport dogs from Serbia, which is now a listed third country, into the EU, they need a corresponding rabies titer. This measures whether there are enough antibodies against rabies in the blood. For Serbia, the titer proof must be at least 3 months old upon entry into the EU. Since titers are quite expensive, not all dogs have the certificate; it is only done when needed. Once a dog is adopted, it can take 3 months until it is travel-ready. Blood is drawn from the dog and sent to a laboratory. Vendi, der RohdiamantVendi ist eine scheue Hündin aus dem Tierschutz und wartet nun schon seit fast zehn Jahren auf ein liebevolles Zuhause. Sie kam als junge Hündin ins Asyl und ist eine von vielen Hunden, die ausgesetzt und ihrem Schicksal überlassen wurden.Bis heute begegnet Vendi Menschen mit Misstrauen und Vorsicht. Es ist davon auszugehen, dass sie in ihrer frühen Prägungsphase keine engen oder positiven Erfahrungen mit Menschen machen konnte.Hat Vendi einmal Vertrauen gefasst, ist Kontakt möglich. Fremden gegenüber ist sie jedoch scheu.Trotzdem wünschen wir uns für Vendi ein eigenes Zuhause. Denn nur weil sie Menschen gegenüber vorsichtig ist, bedeutet das nicht, dass das Leben im Asyl für sie ein glückliches Leben ist. Auch Vendi hat die Chance auf ein liebevolles Zuhause verdient.Für Vendi suchen wir Menschen, die Erfahrung mit unsicheren oder scheuen Hunden haben und akzeptieren, dass sie keinen Kontakt zu fremden Menschen möchte. Sie braucht ein ruhiges Zuhause mit Menschen, zu denen sie eine verlässliche Bindung aufbauen kann.Ein Haushalt mit Kindern ist für Vendi nicht geeignet.Auch ein Leben in der Stadt wäre für sie nicht das Richtige.Deshalb wünschen wir uns für Vendi ein Zuhause -idealerweise mit Garten – in einer ruhigen Umgebung.
