Verlassene, enttäuschte Mitzy sucht dringend warmes Plätzchen

Mixed Breed · Female · Senior · 12 years

A female cat, born around 2014, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, chipped, EU pet passport, tested for FIV and FeLV before departure. Abandoned, disappointed Mitzy urgently seeks a warm place. Mitzy can't live another harsh Romanian winter on the streets. Mitzy is disappointed, having been abandoned and lost her home. Mitzy longs for nothing more than a safe warm place in a house with loving people. And this is Mitzy's sad story: Mitzy used to have a home; there lived an elderly lady. This lady asked animal rescuers for help with the cats' spaying - of course, they helped and also brought food. Other cats from the neighborhood came to eat. Some were shy, so a cat trap had to be used to catch and then spay them. A few years ago, the children of the elderly lady came, the house was sold, the lady moved out - and the cats were left behind. Mitzy was actually a house cat and rarely went into the garden. At night, she used to have a warm sleeping place. Now she seems sad and has become thinner. It seems her body can't stand the winter cold anymore. Last year, she got stuck on the attic - probably she had sought shelter there in a particularly cold night and then couldn't get out. She was missing for days, until her feeders finally heard a meow. When Mitzy was freed, she was overjoyed and meowed desperately. In winter, Mitzy suffers especially, then she raises her paws one by one and often stands on only three legs, because the ground is covered with ice. Mitzy urgently needs a home before winter comes. She is a loving, quiet cat and seems to be disappointed with the world... Who can give the dear and undemanding Mitzy a warm place and finally some love? Who can save her from the bitterly cold Romanian winter? Mitzy is still in Romania.
