Tier lover in Bulgaria! - S.O.S. Please help - Please help the desperate single fighter in need - Dr.vet. Svetlana Petrova - Hello, dear animal friends! Please read this mail and help if you have the opportunity.... I am Dr.vet. Svetlana Petrova, a veterinarian and animal lover in Bulgaria. I am not an organization but just a private person with a big heart for animals. At home I have 3 dogs and 20 cats. 7 dogs are kept in a dog hotel and other 3 dogs at friends. Every day I bring food for street dogs and cats on the street - more than 20 dogs and more than 20 cats… I constantly need help because with my salary I can not cover all costs for so many animals - food, cat litter, veterinary treatments - deworming, tick and flea treatments, vaccinations, castrations... 2 dogs are in our municipal dog hotel where €6 per day and dog is charged. For this month the dog hotel is: €12 per day for 2 dogs x 30 days = €360. The other 5 dogs I keep in a village dog hotel where the price is lower, but without food I arrange it. The price there is €2 per dog and day, that means €10 per day for all 5 dogs, 30 days x €10 per day = €300. Total: €360 + €300 = €660 costs only for the hotel, but I also have to provide food and veterinary care. Please contact me if you could offer some of these dear angels a foster home or a permanent home. Tierschützerin in Bulgarien ! - S.O.S-bitte helfen - Bitte helft der verzweifelten Einzelkämpferin in Not - Dr.vet. Svetlana Petrova - Hallo, liebe Tierfreunde! About Verzweifelte Einzelkämpferin in

What life with Verzweifelte Einzelkämpferin in looks like

Verzweifelte Einzelkämpferin in is a large young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tier-Not-Hilfe in Germany.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Verzweifelte Einzelkämpferin in, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Verzweifelte Einzelkämpferin in?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tier-Not-Hilfe handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Verzweifelte Einzelkämpferin in on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Verzweifelte Einzelkämpferin in if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tier-Not-Hilfe will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Verzweifelte Einzelkämpferin in already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Verzweifelte Einzelkämpferin in isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tier-Not-Hilfe early rather than rehoming privately; they know Verzweifelte Einzelkämpferin in and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
