He is a special dog. Initially, he shows himself to people with great caution and suspicion. He needs time, patience, and understanding to build trust, and one must not pressure him. Those who give him this time will witness how the shy young male dog slowly warms up. With treats, calmness, and loving consistency, he allows closeness and even enjoys cuddles from the people he knows and trusts. With other dogs, however, Viano is a real treasure. He lives harmoniously with male and female dogs, meets unfamiliar dogs friendly and respectfully, and plays happily with his four-legged friends. His curious and playful side is especially evident when he feels secure. As a typical Podenco, Viano has a pronounced prey drive. Therefore, he seeks an experienced home that understands his needs and is ready to take the necessary safety measures. He is very agile and quick when he wants to get out of an uncomfortable situation. A safety harness would be very helpful here, as he can wriggle out of a regular collar. His future family should therefore bring patience, dog experience, and a sense of responsibility. Behind his cautious facade lies a young dog eager to explore the world. Er ist ein besonderer Hund. Menschen gegenüber zeigt er sich zunächst sehr vorsichtig und misstrauisch. Er braucht Zeit, Geduld und Verständnis um Vertrauen aufzubauen, man darf ihn nicht bedrängen. Wer ihm diese Zeit schenkt, wird jedoch erleben, wie der schüchterne junge Rüde langsam auftaut. Mit Leckerlis, Ruhe und liebevoller Konsequenz lässt er Nähe zu und genießt dann sogar Streicheleinheiten von den Menschen, die er kennt und denen er vertraut. Mit anderen Hunden ist Viano hingegen ein echter Schatz. Er lebt harmonisch mit Rüden und Hündinnen zusammen, begegnet fremden Hunden freundlich und respektvoll und spielt gerne mit seinen vierbeinigen Freunden. Seine neugierige und verspielte Seite zeigt er besonders dann, wenn er sich sicher fühlt. Als typischer Podenco bringt Viano einen ausgeprägten Jagdtrieb mit. Deshalb sucht er ein erfahrenes Zuhause, das seine Bedürfnisse kennt und bereit ist, die nötigen Sicherheitsmaßnahmen zu treffen.
