GPAR Input 5 February 2026: Victor was rescued after being seen wandering in an industrial area near Rute in March 2025. Hungry, thirsty and abandoned, he received water and some food from caring workers until the rescue center was notified and he could be taken there. After a few days, the volunteers managed to catch him in a trap and safely secure him and provide him with food. When Victor first came to the animal shelter, he was very shy and cautious, but over time he has grown into a happier and more confident dog. He is still a bit cautious when meeting new people, but his curiosity and willingness to go out are growing all the time. Victor gets along well with the other dogs at home and is often seen happily with his friends. He walks well on a harness and leash, even in areas with lots of noise and traffic. Victor is a gentle and friendly dog who has left a difficult life behind and now dares to show his playful, loving side. He is looking for a stable home where he has time, patience, security and lots of love to grow up. He is already showing that he can easily adapt to daily life. This beautiful Podenco is longing for a home where he can continue his journey - where he receives love, patience and time to feel completely safe. With the right family, he will quickly show what a warm and loving dog he really is.

GPAR Input 5 februari 2026: Victor werd gered nadat hij in maart 2025 werd gezien terwijl hij rondzwierf in een industriegebied nabij Rute. Hongerig, dorstig en verlaten kreeg hij water en wat eten van zorgzame arbeiders totdat het opvangcentrum werd gewaarschuwd en hij daarheen kon. Na een paar dagen slaagden de vrijwilligers erin hem te vangen met een val en hem veilig te stellen en eten te geven.Toen Victor voor het eerst naar het asiel kwam, was hij erg verlegen en voorzichtig, maar na verloop van tijd is hij uitgegroeid tot een gelukkigere en zelfverzekerdere hond. Hij is nog steeds een beetje voorzichtig bij het ontmoeten van nieuwe mensen, maar zijn nieuwsgierigheid en bereidheid om eropuit te gaan groeien steeds.Victor kan het goed vinden met de andere honden thuis en wordt vaak vrolijk met zijn vrienden gezien. Hij loopt goed aan een tuigje en riem, zelfs in gebieden met veel lawaai en verkeer. Victor is een zachtaardige en vriendelijke hond die een zwaar leven achter zich heeft gelaten en nu zijn speelse, liefdevolle kant durft te tonen.
