Vivi

Mixed Breed · Female

Vivi was found on Ždiarska street in Košice, in the Nad Jazerom district. Upon her arrival, she developed anorexia and watery diarrhea, so she had to be hospitalized and received intravenous treatment. Fortunately, her health condition improved and she is now fine. Vivi is a tiny, cheerful and energetic puppy full of energy. She loves to play, explore her surroundings and is interested in everything that happens around her. She is curious, playful and eagerly discovers the world, which is still completely new to her. She is still tiny and will learn most things alongside her future family. She needs gradual socialization, getting to know new people, places and situations, and loving but consistent upbringing. Regular routine, games and movement appropriate for her age, as well as plenty of rest, will be important. She has not yet fully mastered her hygiene habits, which is natural for such a small puppy. With a regular routine, frequent walks and patience, she will gradually learn them. Vivi is looking for a home in an apartment or a family house with full indoor access. She needs people who realize that even a tiny puppy will grow into an adult dog and are ready to devote her time, care and upbringing throughout her adolescence. Vivi has her whole life ahead of her. She now needs her family, with whom she can grow, discover the world and become a beloved part of her life. Cross-border transport is currently not possible due to ongoing veterinary procedures. VACCINATION: ongoing - expected completion 06.10.2026

SK·Show original

Potrebuje postupnú socializáciu, spoznávanie nových ľudí, miest a situácií a láskavú, no dôslednú výchovu.

About Vivi

What life with Vivi looks like

Vivi is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at ÚVP Košice in Slovakia.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇸🇰Adopting from Slovakia

Slovak rescue groups coordinate cross-border transport with European partners. Animals are chipped and vaccinated; sterilization is often included for adults and arranged post-adoption for puppies/kittens.

Frequently asked

Adopting Vivi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Vivi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ÚVP Košice handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Vivi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Vivi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — ÚVP Košice will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Vivi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Vivi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ÚVP Košice early rather than rehoming privately; they know Vivi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (SK). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
