Adopt Voldemordka (b15)

Female

Voldemordka (b15) - VoldemorDka arrived at our shelter in a bad condition, neglected and sick, requiring treatment and care, which she clearly lacked previously. Today, she is a completely different kitten. She is slowly regaining her strength and increasingly showing how much warmth she has within her. At first glance, she may appear shy. In the presence of strangers, she withdraws, needing a moment to feel safe and trust. She is not a kitten who will run up to greet you immediately. However, once she gets to know someone, she opens up and shows her true nature. Then, she becomes incredibly sensitive, gentle, and longing for closeness. She is one of those kittens that love deeply, but only after they are given a chance. Her appearance is unique. VoldemorDka has her quirks – if something doesn’t suit her, she will show it. Kicia lacks a piece of her nose – the exact reason is still not fully known… However, this does not detract from her charm; on the contrary, it gives her an irreplaceable character and makes it hard to confuse her with any other cat. This is a sign of how much she has gone through, but also a proof of how strong she can be. Zisi is now in much better condition and ready to start a new chapter. We are looking for a peaceful, patient, and full-of-understanding home for her. A home that will give her time to adjust and allow her to build a relationship at her own pace. In return, VoldemorDka will repay you with her trust and immense love. She is a kitten for someone who can see beauty where others see imperfections. For someone who does not expect immediate closeness but wants to create it step by step. VoldemorDka is waiting for such a person. ul. About Voldemordka (b15)

What life with Voldemordka (b15) looks like

Voldemordka (b15) is a adult cat waiting at Schronisko Kielce in Kielce.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Voldemordka (b15), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Voldemordka (b15)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Kielce handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Voldemordka (b15) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Voldemordka (b15) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Kielce will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Voldemordka (b15) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Voldemordka (b15) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Kielce early rather than rehoming privately; they know Voldemordka (b15) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
