Voren

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 5 years

Voren is a handsome dog! But Voren was not lucky either and wandered aimlessly around the streets of the town of Albertirsa. Nice passers-by called the animal shelter, and Voren was immediately picked up and brought to safety unharmed. During the chip check, they were even successful, the people were informed, but they no longer wanted Voren back. Better so, because Voren deserves people who care for him, pay attention to him and never leave him in the lurch. Since July 31, 2026, he has been waiting eagerly "behind bars" for a positive turn in his life, for his people, who will show him the sunny sides of life and make him feel that he is loved. Voren is a great guy. Lovely, friendly, open, nice, just a cool dog who makes a lot of fun and is in the animal shelter, like all dogs, in the wrong place. Voren enjoys every caress and human affection, that was probably lacking in his life and would have liked to have more of it. He needs a lot of love and closeness. Walking on a leash is already quite good, but it is still worth improving. Voren still needs to sit in the school bench, but it will definitely be a lot of fun to learn and practice with him, because he wants to please, learn and just be with his people. He wants to be occupied in a dog-friendly way and go on an adventure with his people. He would be the ideal companion for hiking, jogging, cycling and other things where dog and people spend time together. He gets along well with his fellow dogs and is currently (September 2, 2026) being integrated into a mixed pack. For our enchanting Voren, we are looking for dog-enthusiastic and loving bipeds, which will step with him into a common future. Voren needs people he can rely on and who can lead him lovingly but consistently and clearly, then he is a loyal and reliable companion. He wants to catch up, get to know and enjoy everything that has been denied him so far: love, care, varied and exciting walks, dog-friendly exercise, many caresses and 100% family connection. Whoever gives this great boy his time and love will get a faithful companion for life. Who will enter into a lifelong dog-human partnership with Voren? During the examination at the animal shelter, many barbs were found in his ears, which were of course removed. What pain he must have had, one does not want to imagine. Voren can travel from around mid/end of September 2026 if he has found a home or a foster home.

About Voren

What life with Voren looks like

Voren is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Happyend in Animal Happyend.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Voren, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Voren?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Happyend handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Voren on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Voren if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Happyend will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Voren already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Voren isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Happyend early rather than rehoming privately; they know Voren and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
