Walery is a dignified black tomcat who has been waiting for a long time for someone to open their heart to him. For most of his life, Walery has known only freedom—hard, unforgiving freedom. Every day was a struggle for a full belly, a safe shelter, and his own little patch of territory. More than once, he had to face other cats, confront the cold, and deal with the uncertainty of tomorrow. Yet despite all his experiences, Walery has never lost his trust in humans. He’s a cat who thoroughly enjoys what he’s lacked for so many years—warmth, peace, and affection. He loves basking in the sun’s rays, taking naps on a soft armchair, and tilting his head back for a good scratch behind the ears. He can also show his more playful side—happily chasing fishing rods or balls. His interactions with other cats vary. Years spent outdoors taught him that you have to fight for what’s yours, so he usually doesn’t care much for feline company on his own territory. He’d do best as the only cat in a home where he wouldn’t have to compete with anyone for attention. At the shelter, Walery had a mild case of cat flu. The infection occasionally makes itself felt and requires eye drops. However, there’s a good chance that in a calm, home-like environment, his immune system will strengthen, and the problem will completely subside. Today, Walery no longer has to fight for survival. Now he’s waiting for a human who’ll show him that home isn’t just about a full bowl of food—it’s above all about safety, care, and love. We’re looking for a safe haven for Walery for the rest of his life—a home where he can simply be a happy, loved cat. Could it be your home that becomes his forever place? Walery to dostojny czarny kocur który już długo czeka aż ktoś otworzy dla niego serce. Przez większość swojego życia Walery znał tylko wolność- tę trudną, bezwzględną. Każdy dzień był walką o pełny brzuch, bezpieczne schronienie i własny kawałek terenu. Nie raz musiał stawić czoła innym kocurom, zmierzyć się z chłodem i niepewnością jutra. A jednak Walery, mimo wszystkich doświadczeń, nie stracił zaufania do człowieka. To kocur, który z ogromną przyjemnością korzysta z tego, czego przez lata miał tak niewiele- ciepła, spokoju i czułości. Uwielbia wygrzewać się w promieniach słońca, ucinać sobie drzemki na miękkim fotelu i nadstawiać głowę do drapania za uchem. Potrafi też pokazać swoją bardziej figlarną stronę- chętnie pobiega za wędką czy piłeczką. W relacjach z innymi kotami bywa różnie. Lata spędzone na dworze nauczyły go, że o swoje trzeba walczyć, dlatego zwykle nie przepada za kocim towarzystwem na swoim terenie. Najlepiej odnajdzie się jako jedyny kot w domu, gdzie nie będzie musiał z nikim konkurować o uwagę. W schronisku Walery przeszedł koci katar. Infekcja od czasu do czasu daje o sobie znać i wymaga zakrapiania oczu. Jest jednak duża szansa, że w spokojnym, domowym środowisku jego odporność się wzmocni, a problem całkowicie się wyciszy. Dziś Walery nie musi już walczyć o przetrwanie. Teraz czeka na człowieka, który pokaże mu, że dom to nie tylko pełna miska, ale przede wszystkim bezpieczeństwo, troska i miłość.
