Whisky is a 13-year-old mixed Bulldog and Yorkshire Terrier who arrived at the shelter because his owner is moving to a retirement home and can no longer care for him. Despite his age, Whisky has retained his daily routine and enjoys going for walks. He is indifferent to other dogs and has been around Bernese Mountain Dogs, suggesting that he could get along with another dog. However, Whisky has resource guarding around his food, so meals would need to be given separately to ensure both dogs can eat safely and peacefully. Whisky has no experience with cats, so his reactions with them are unknown. He used to live with a canary and interacted with it daily.

Malgré son âge, Whisky est un chien qui a gardé ses petites habitudes. Il connaît les promenades et avait l’habitude de sortir quotidiennement. En balade, il se montre plutôt indifférent aux autres chiens et ne réagit pas à leur présence. Il a également déjà côtoyé des Bouviers Bernois, ce qui laisse penser qu’une cohabitation avec un autre chien pourrait être envisageable. Whisky présente toutefois une protection de ressources autour de sa nourriture. S’il devait partager son quotidien avec un autre chien, les repas devront donc être donnés séparément afin que chacun puisse manger tranquillement et en toute sécurité. Concernant les autres animaux, Whisky ne connaît pas les chats et ses réactions avec eux restent donc à découvrir. Il vivait en revanche avec un canari, qu’il côtoyait au quotidien.
