Wiesje and Spijkie are two sweet cats looking for a new home together. They are a brother and sister pair who get along well and are looking for a new home together. Do you have a place for them? These are Wiesje and Spijkie. The modest Spijkie finds new situations exciting and needs time to feel at ease. When his brothers and sisters were already playing in the shelter, he was hiding under his hutch. He wanted to, but he didn't dare. His sweet sister Wiesje comforted him by lying down next to him and giving him head scratches. Her way of saying: it's all right. And that worked, because slowly this handsome man is showing more and more of himself. Now you can gently pet him if you approach him calmly, and he seems to enjoy it. We expect that he can make good progress in a new home. Wiesje also needed some time to get used to us at first. But once she discovered that we were giving her lots of scratches, she was quick to join in. Now this sweet and friendly cat clearly enjoys a good cuddle and doesn't mind asking for it herself. They both love to play. The handsome Spijkie has just discovered playing, but with a stick with a feather he is immediately enthusiastic. If you move this, for example, around a scratching post, Spijkie can't get enough of it. His more experienced playmates sometimes take the toy away from him. This gentle man then takes a step back. Broer en zus kunnen het goed met elkaar vinden en zoeken daarom samen een nieuw thuis. Heb jij een plekje voor ze? Dit zijn Wiesje en Spijkie De bescheiden Spijkie vindt nieuwe situaties spannend en heeft tijd nodig om zich op zijn gemak te voelen. Toen zijn broertjes en zusjes in het asiel al lekker aan het ravotten waren, zat hij nog verstopt onder zijn hok. Hij wilde wel, maar durfde nog niet. Zijn lieve zus Wiesje stelde hem gerust door bij hem te gaan liggen en hem kopjes te geven. Haar manier om te zeggen: het valt allemaal wel mee. En dat werkte, want langzaam laat deze mooie man steeds wat meer van zichzelf zien. Inmiddels kun je hem voorzichtig aaien als je hem rustig benadert, en daar lijkt hij zichtbaar van te genieten. We verwachten dan ook dat hij in een eigen huisje nog mooie stappen kan maken. Wiesje had in het begin ook even tijd nodig om aan ons te wennen. Maar toen ze eenmaal ontdekte dat wij vooral aaitjes uitdeelden, was ze snel om. Inmiddels geniet deze lieve en vriendelijke poes duidelijk van een lekkere knuffel en ze vindt het geen probleem om daar zelf bij je om te komen vragen. Spelen doen ze allebei graag. De mooie Spijkie heeft het spelen pas net ontdekt, maar met een stok met veertje is hij meteen fanatiek. Als je dit bijvoorbeeld om een krabpaal heen en weer beweegt kan Spijkie zijn geluk niet op. Zijn meer ervaren speelkameraadjes nemen het speeltje soms nog weleens van hem over. Deze zachtaardige man doet dan een stapje terug. De enthousiaste en vrolijke Wiesje daarentegen laat zich haar speeltje niet zo makkelijk ontfutselen. Met een hengel met veer kan zij zich prima vermaken. Regelmatig staat deze kleine dame dan ook voor een lastige keuze: spelen of kroelen? Goed om te weten over Wiesje en Spijkie Er zijn geen medische bijzonderheden. Wat Wiesje en Spijkie van honden vinden, weten we niet en daarom plaatsen we het duo niet bij honden. Ze hebben samengeleefd met andere katten en zijn vriendelijk en sociaal. We denken dat vooral Spijkie het beste tot zijn recht komt als hij samen met Wiesje mag wonen, zonder andere katten. Ze zijn duidelijk op elkaar gesteld en worden daarom samen geplaatst.
